Managing Your Skins in Cold Weather
In cold weather conditions the glue on the bottom of your skins can freeze up making it hard to put your skins back on your skis when you come to your next transition. You can help alleviate this problem by placing your skins inside your jacket. Keeping the glue warm with your body heat will allow them to stick to your skis better at bottom of your run.
